Juno-nominated singer-songwriter, Danny Michel, has raised $103,945 USD (as of May 5, 2020) for Ocean Academy. He dedicated his 50th birthday to a concert benefitting Ocean Academy. His goal was to reach a total of $100,000 to benefit the students of Ocean Academy and he and his fans exceeded that goal!!
He always helps to spread the word for special needs such as during the current COVID-19 challenge of losing tourism-based funding.
Danny tours Canada and the U.S. sharing photos and stories with his fans, connecting them to the special young men and women across the globe benefiting from Danny’s tireless efforts. His stories come from the heart as he is a beloved member of the Ocean Academy family . . . students know him not only as a famous Canadian musician, but also as a campus carpenter, music mentor, and talented videographer.
